...On the suggestion of a colleague I checked Google
about a possible relation of the 12-zodiac signs to the
12-Olympian gods.
...Sure enough, there is a large literature on it. It and
it appears that the gods and the zodiac date from the
same historical era and from the same geographical
locale so the suspicion has long been that the zodiac
signs and the Olympian gods are connected,
...Meanwhile modern psychology (Hammond et al)
has discovered that The Structural Model of Personality
originates in the 3-axis orthogonal cleavage of the brain
(cubic brain cleavage) and since a cube has 13 rotational
symmetry axes, it produces 13 "personality types"
known to Personality Psychometry as the 2nd Order
Factors which are obviously the 12 Olympian gods of
history. And now we see, due to this suggestion,
they also correspond to the 12 signs of the zodiac !
...Every disturbed person that has ever landed in a
hospital has been found to be mumbling about the zodiac.
...Now we know what they are talking about,
they're talking about the Structural Model of Personality
and the 13 personality types therein.
...I'll be sure to put all this in my upcoming PLOS-1
(Public Library of Science) paper which I intend to
publish this winter.

I was curious, so I retrieved the original control messages from ftp.isc.org,
and they say:

I was around back in '98, but I can't say I really remember
much about the group.

Will point out that the sword cuts both ways, and that a claim
that "climate science is pseudo-science" is a pseudo-scientific
claim in and of itself.

(And, also, considerable good could come about by allaying the
fears of vaccine skeptics/cynics...)

(Anyone know off the top of their head where the current charter is?)

Finally: Astrology is pseudo-science!
