Alice B. Goode

Hi! My name is Alice Goode and I'm now 66 years old.
I often look at people my age and think, "Surely,
I can't look THAT old."
Well, I visited my new dentist in Pottsville the
other day and, while sitting in his waiting room,
I read his diploma on the wall.
Suddenly, when I saw his name, I remembered there
was a tall, handsome, dark-haired boy in my graduating
class with the same name some 40 years ago.
Could he be the same young man whom I had a secret
crush on way back then?
Upon stepping into his office, I quickly discarded
any such thought.
In front of me was this balding, gray-haired, overweight
man with a road-map face that assured me he certainly
was too old to have been in my class.
After he finished examining my teeth, I asked him if,
by chance, he had attended Mahanoy City High School.
"Yes, I did!" he happily responded. "In fact, I was
on both the football and basketball teams."
'When did you graduate?" I asked him.
"In 1965," he proudly responded.
"Then we were in high school together!" I happily
exclaimed.
He looked me over rather closely, then that ugly, old,
bald, wrinkled-faced, flat-ass, gray-haired Old Fart
asked me:
"What did you TEACH?"
