Hello newsgroup:
Finally after many delays, my first book is in print. You can see Friesenpress .com bookstore, and find my book under "DNA of Mathematics."
This site does not have eBook.
The book (color with over 140 images) is only available on online bookstores.
Soon, major online bookstores will also have printed copy as well as eBooks. These are:
Amazon, Kindle, Nook, Kobo, iTunes, Google Play and many more online stores, like Best Buy, WalMart, Barnes and Noble, and Chapters.
However, the price of eBook is less than a hamburger price, $4.99.
This book is mostly addressed for the general non-scientific public. Thus you may learn a lot about science issues.
Educational institutions may also select this book as a textbook for a one-term teaching on its variety of topics.
You may wish to order printed copy through your city library; they may like to purchase it for their readers.
My next several books will be about putting programing on CDs; for professional mathematicians and scientists, hopefully its first volume will come by the summer of 2015.
(I have hundreds of programing on Maple, eventually release it to the scientists).
You will notice that, in the book I have also discussed evolution, No Big Bang, No Black Holes.
I have placed the Earth again as the center of the Universe, and restricted the relativity theory on experimental grounds to the earth surroundings.
Certainly, my laboratory of understanding is all mathematics, as opposed to instruments in physics, chemistry and astronomy labs.
I believe the current status of mathematics, is like our understandings of universe, during the Galileo time, and my DNA of mathematics on Riccati equations, will open up many galaxies of transformation for the future research.
I would recommend to physics professors to use DNA of math for their research on Newton's gravitational formula.
Please feel free to let us know what you think about the book, or write anything you wish in a review, if you choose to do so (in this newsgroup and other places).
All ideas are my own personal views.
I have placed ads in the AMS Notices, London Math and CAUT Bulletin for January and Feb. issues.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
Sincerely
Mehran Basti, Ph.D.
